Ardyce Vinson Obituary


Ardyce M. Vinson VIRGINIA BEACH - Ardyce M. Vinson, 82, passed away Aug. 11, 2008, in a local hospital. Ardyce was predeceased by her husband, Dale Vinson and a daughter, Del Raye Willett. Ardyce was a retired dental hygienist. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. Ardyce enjoyed her friends, longtime ones from her CPO Wives Club and her newer friends at Lynnhaven Cove. Ardyce leaves to cherish her memory one son, Ronald Vinson and wife Beth of Virginia Beach; one brother, Vernon Jensen and wife Janet of Arizona; three grandchildren, Kyle Willett and wife Alisha and Keith Willett, all of Kentucky and Amanda Vinson Spalding and husband Eric of Farmville; one great-grandchild, Jacob Willett of Kentucky; and a host of other relatives. A celebration of Ardyce's life, officiated by the Rev. Jim Ullian, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are invited to the home of Ron Vinson after the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Online condolences and a guestbook for Ardyce can be signed www.woodlawngroup.com.
