Thomasina Dupree-Owens Obituary
Thomasina Dupree-Owens VIRGINIA BEACH - Thomasina Camille Dupree-Owens, 40, of the 3800 block Cranberry Court, departed this life Aug. 11, 2008. Born in Willimantic, Conn., she was a realtor. She is survived by her husband, Oliver L. Owens Jr.; daughter, Elyse Robinson and son Joshua Owens of Virginia Beach; parents, Pastor Richard and Evelyn Sanders and Thomas Dupree; mother and father-in-law, Harriet Gail Owens and Oliver L. Owens Sr.; two brothers, Jonathan Mackey and Gabriel Foreman; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. We invite you to send a condolence message in the family's guestbook at www.pretlowandsons.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made at Navy Federal Credit Union for the Thomasina Owens Memorial Fund.
