Dearest Vikki and Dave:

There is little to add to all the lovely sentiments and memories previously expressed. Ryan, Casey, Kerry, Jordan, Bruce, and I have many, many happy memories of the little blondie-curled girl with the infectious smile and great big brown eyes with the Bambi eyelashes.

The friendship shared by our girls and by us will forever be in our memory and hearts.

There are no words to describe what you must be enduring at her loss and that of her unborn son, Lance. We can only hope God brings you peace and lifts the burden of your loss so that you may go on to have some happiness in your young marriage. Give God the burden...he will take care of it and cherish the honor.

Tera

The blondie-curled girl
with the golden brown eyes
as big as pools of chocolate...

A smile on her face for all
those she knew and often
for those she had never met.

A life cut short much too soon
a boy we'd have loved to know
a sweet, loving heart always
shown...giving light as does the
moon.

As their spirits ascend to a
place of light and peace...
The angels will give them
their own sets of wings and
their joy will never cease.

Vikki & Family,
I was shocked when I heard Tera was gone, and I am truely sorry. I will treasure the millions of memories of the beautiful little girl with the big brown eyes and the smile to match. The imfamous Godfrey slumber parties(my house getting egged because the boys were there),Cheerleading compititions and camps are just a handful of the memories I have. The last time I saw Tera, I was visiting there, we were so happy to see each other we talked for hours.
Please know that my thoughts and my prayers are with you all.

MY MEMORIES OF TERA ANN:

I remember meeting Tera when we cheered for TAC Neptunes. That is where it all began. A whole group of us became not only a squad but a family as well.

I remember having slumber parties over Tera's house, of course on Ashby St., we would all take turns throwing each other in the pool and yelling at the railroad engineer to blow his whistle as he went by.

I remember us throwing each others bathing suits in the freezer ovr night---mixed with ketchup, mustard, water and whatever else we could find in the fridge--just to see what would happen.

I also remember playing softball w/ Tera at Azalea. My mom (Linda Millard) was her coach. She was the smallest yet fastest girl on the team and her huge smile just brightened our days.

However, when we were kids cheerleading is what was in our blood and that is what we ALL loved to do. Tera could do a "Russian" like no other....and her "basket tosses" were like nothing we've seen before.

We all grew up and eventually drifted apart but I know we each crossed each others minds once in a while.

Vicki and family--I truly wish nothing but peace for you and your entire family. Please know that GOD has a huge plan for Tera and Lance. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace little Tera!!

Love, Tracey

To the entire Godfrey Family~
I am truly sorry for your loss. Growing up together, Tera was like a little sister I never had. We all had great times and memories we all share and will hang on to them forever.
I’d like to share a memory of my own. We were having one of those great slumber parties at the Godfrey house and I decided we should all jump out of Tera’s (upstairs) window into the pool. A couple of us did….guess who~ Me & Nicole! We scared Tera and she went and told on us and we got in BIG trouble! Tera was cool like that! She did not follow the crowd. She was defiantly a sweetheart and touched everyone who knew her! You are all in my prayers. Love you guys!

To all the family,
I kept in touch with Tera via email the past year. I'm comforted that she knew I loved her, and she loved all of us. Even though I didn't know the Tera like I knew 15 years ago, those memories are our gift now. Her laughter, those big brown eyes, cheerleading, fairlawn elementary school, Easter at Grandma Beahm's, all the Ashby Street Girls playing in the park and spending the nights at one of neighbor's homes. So many memories. Lisa and Karyn will hold those memories close to their heart. The happy go lucky sweet girl with a sparkle smile and contagious laugh! Lisa visited the sidewalk in front of your old house to see their handprints/with their names written from a stick. Tera was excited for Karyn when her baby Chloe was born, and looked forward to Lance being born as well. I'm sure Grandma Beahm, Grandma Godfrey, and your dog Bert was there to welcome little Lance and Tera to heaven. We love you Tera. We will never ever forget the little girl Tera. Love Kim, John, Lisa, Karyn, Johnny Krebs

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
