Ivory Hodges Obituary
Ivory Hodges VIRGINIA BEACH - Ivory Hodges of the 5400 block of Connie Lane died Aug. 16, 2008. Born in North Carolina, he was a retired custodian with Virginia Beach Public Schools. He was a member of New St. John AME Church, Virginia Beach, where he was a trustee emeritus. He is survived by three sisters, Emma Hodges of Virginia Beach, Magdalene Phillips and Elizabeth Johnson, both of Chesapeake; three devoted nieces, Joyce Cason, Geraldine Cason and Mary Wilder; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in New St. John AME Church. The Rev. E.H. Terrell Jr. will preside. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
