Theodore Thomas Obituary
Theodore W. Thomas CHESAPEAKE - Theodore "Windell" Thomas, 47, of the 1400 block of Great Bridge Blvd., departed this life Aug. 16, 2008. He was born in Portsmouth to Theodore Thomas and the late Ruth L. Thomas. Windell attended Manor High School in Portsmouth and Saint Leo University in Norfolk. Windell is survived by his son, Nimel Woodson; father, Theodore Thomas; and sister, Chikita D. Simmons. Also left to cherish his memory are uncles, aunts and a host of cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ruby and Wilbert Norfleet. Visitation will be held be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at J.T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held at 1 p.m. in Noble Street Baptist Church, 100 Noble St., Portsmouth, where the pastor is Pastor Henry P. Long. The Rev. Bernard Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. The family has entrusted J.T. Fisher Funeral Services to handle the final care arrangements.
