Eldridge Starke Obituary
Eldridge H. Starke Jr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Eldridge H. Starke Jr., 61, passed away Aug. 18, 2008, at his residence. He was born Sept. 4, 1946, in Norfolk. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Starke was a truck driver and would say he traveled from coast to coast and everywhere in between. He was a good man and is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carolyn; children, Marvin, Clay, David, Henry and Ashley; eight grandchildren. Services will be private. Carolyn, I am sorry for your loss. Henry was like an older brother to me and Jeff. Dad thought of Henry as a son as well. Henry was a good honest man that will be missed deeply. I am sure he is culling crabs with Dad now in heaven. My Mother sends her love and well wishes to you at this sad time. Thinking of Henry, Johnny Jones
