Patricia Rene' Foster VIRGINIA BEACH - Patricia Rene' Foster, 49, passed away in Ocean Springs, Miss., Aug. 20, 2008, after a long and courageous fight against cancer. Patti was raised in upstate New York and was a resident of Ocean Springs for approximately one year. Prior to moving to the coast, Patti resided in Virginia Beach where she was employed as a property manager. Patti was the daughter of Helen and Tom Kantor. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister who held a special place in her heart for her 3-year-old grandson, Kaelob. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Patti was preceded in death by her father, Tom Kantor and her maternal grandparents, Fred and Elsie D'Avignon formerly of Schaghticoke, N.Y. Survivors include her daughters, Meaghan Miller Cross (Ryan) and Heather Foster; her son, Kyle Miller; her grandson, Kaelob Miller; her mother, Helen Kantor; her sisters, Cyndi Williams (Mike), Suzanne Beck (Mark), Toni Holmes (Charles), Terri Kantor (Steve); and her brothers, Rick Foster (Cathy), Tim Foster, Tom Kantor (Erin); and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, Saturday, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Patti's headstone fund which has been established at the Woodforest National Bank, 1521 Sam Circle, Chesapeake VA 23320, Attention: Suzanne Beck.
