Lillian Vaccarella Obituary
Lillian H. Vaccarella NORFOLK - Lillian Hudler Vaccarella, 92, loving mother and longtime resident of Norfolk, died Aug. 25, 2008, in her home. She was born in Wilmington, N.C., daughter of the late Frank and Clara Hudler, and was the widow of Guy W. Vaccarella. She was retired from the city of Norfolk and also held positions with the Civil Service Naval Station and Public Health Services in Norfolk. She was a longtime member of Larchmont Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Benny Vaccarella of Littleton, N.C., Jenny Ann Dozier, Teresa Vaccarella-Inman and her husband Michael P. Inman, all of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Tommy Krotzer and his wife Talisha of Chesapeake, Andy Krotzer and Jenny Elizabeth Dozier, both of Norfolk; great-grandson, Evan Krotzer of Chesapeake; nieces June Braswell of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Claire Browne of Greensboro, N.C.; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at hdoliver.com.

We were very sad to hear of the passing of "Miss Lil" as my son Joe fondly referred to her. We are sorry to be so far away and unable to attend her memorial but please know she will always be in our hearts and prayers as will you all. We're sure she will add light to heaven and be the most bejeweled woman there.
