Juanita Everhart Obituary


Juanita G. Everhart PORTSMOUTH - Juanita Gray Everhart, 90, died Aug. 27, 2008, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital. She was a member of Victory Boulevard Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Everhart and a son, Jack Wayne Templeton. Survivors include two daughters, Edith T. Greene and Elaine T. LaLonde and husband Jim of Virginia Beach; one son, Lewis F. Templeton and wife Jean of Suffolk; one sister; five grandchildren, Randall Greene, Jimmy LaLonde, Teressa Goodenow, Amy Piper and Jack W. Templeton Jr.; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel, by the Rev. H.B. "Jackie" Allen. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Portsmouth Naval Hospital for the wonderful, loving, tender care given to their mother. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
