Herbert Robinson Obituary
Herbert E. Robinson WINDSOR - Herbert E. Robinson, 44, passed away Aug. 26, 2008, at his home in Windsor. He was a former resident of Virginia Beach. Mr. Robinson was born Sept. 14, 1963, in Arlington, Va., the son of the late Charles and Donna Robinson. He served the U.S. Army in the Demilitarized Zone of Korea. He worked for Virginia Power as a ground man. Herbert was a designer for Glass Baron. He is survived by a sister, Loretta Austin of Windsor; a brother, Paul Robinson of Front Royal, Va.; two nephews, William and Jon Harris; and a niece, Christina Harris. A funeral will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m. in Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. Burial will follow in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.altmeyer.com.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. The thing I remember most was when we were visiting your parents one summer and every morning he would come down stairs and the first thing he wanted to know was the surf report. He would yell surfs up and away he would go.
