Earnest H. Price VIRGINIA BEACH - Earnest Herman Price, 78, of the 500 block of Woodstock Road, went to be with the Lord Sept. 3, 2008. A native of Bladenboro, N.C., he was the son of Worth and Rhoda Sutton Price. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict, the owner of Price's Bar B-Q & Seafood, and a member of Avalon Church of Christ, Virginia Beach. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Frazier Price; a daughter, Cissy Crawford and her husband Tim of Yoder, Colo.; three sons, Ernie Price Jr. of Portsmouth and Russell Price and his wife Kimberly and Paul Price and his wife Danielle, all of Virginia Beach; three stepdaughters, Michelle Minnix and her husband Mike of Charlotte, N.C., Tina Demerly and Lisa Manning and her husband Jeff of Virginia Beach; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Geneta Head and Golda Taylor, both of Portsmouth. A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Avalon Church of Christ with Pastor James Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the residence at all other times.
