Larry Farr Obituary


Larry D. Farr VIRGINIA BEACH - Larry Douglas Farr passed away peacefully Aug. 31, 2008. He was born in Newport News, Va. He is survived by his forever loving wife of 44 years, Jeanette; daughter, Robin Michelle Farr and her fiance Fred Meyer; daughter, Heather Danielle Abril and husband Anthony Abril; grandchildren, Caitlyn Farr and Noah Abril; his beloved sister and best friend, Cheryl Millam and husband Michael Millam; his father, Earnest W. Farr Jr.; sister, Gail Kosmas and her husband Steve; brother, Pierce Farr; godson, Alexander Jordan Young; and a host of other relatives and friends. Larry had a wonderful smile that affected everyone he knew. For those fortunate enough to be close to him, "every day was like the first day of summer." He was truly a unique person. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a positive influence on everyone he encountered. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 500 Plume St. East, Suite 110, Norfolk, VA 23510.
