MacArthur Manuel Obituary
MacArthur A. Manuel VIRGINIA BEACH - MacArthur A. Manuel, 50, of the 400 block of Barberton Drive, passed away Aug. 27, 2008, in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was the son of the late Tiotimo and Flora Manuel. He was a technician with A&E Television Repair and a member of the Friendship Society of Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Celest V. Manuel; his daughter, Gemma Antiquin of Belgium; his son, Mark Cayaba of Virginia Beach; and three brothers, Loreto, Bonifacio and Tootsie; and sister-in-law, Mitz Manuel. He was predeceased by a brother, Benjamin. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Star of the Sea Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Esteban "Steve" DeLeon officiating. The burial will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. with a wake at 7:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
