Rose Zamperini Obituary


Rose A. Zamperini VIRGINIA BEACH - Rose A. Zamperini, 88, formerly of Jasper Court in Norfolk and a resident of Marian Manor, passed away Sept. 7, 2008, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. A native of Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Rowan and the widow of Angelo L. Zamperini. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Charles Zamperini and wife Hazel of Virginia Beach and Thomas Robert Croxton and wife Irene of Elizabeth City, N.C.; five grandchildren, Shawn Angelo Zamperini, Kristin Nicole Zamperini, both of Virginia Beach, Robert Lynn Croxton of Daytona Beach, Fla., Stephen Edward Croxton of Chesapeake, Christopher Thomas Croxton of Virginia Beach; four great-grandchildren, Shane Stephen Croxton of Chesapeake, Kalib and Ethan Croxton of Baton Rouge, La., and Kristina Croxton of Virginia Beach; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
