Warren Howlett Obituary

Warren Bradley Howlett VIRGINIA BEACH - Warren Bradley "Brad" Howlett went to his heavenly home Sept. 14, 2008. He was born Nov. 7, 1969, in Norfolk and was the son of Franklin D. and Judith H. Howlett of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by his brother, Wesley Ryan Howlett of Lebanon, Ore., and his sister, Alison Elaine Howlett of San Francisco and several aunts, uncles and many cousins. Brad accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 8 and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Norfolk. He attended Tidewater Community College and was a salesman for several statewide businesses. His favorite job was working for his Aunt Janet at Four Star Industries. He was an avid Tar Heels and NASCAR fan. Brad was a faithful son who devoted the last three years of his life helping his father care for his mother. He had one of those magnetic personalities that you always wanted to be around. Brad endeared himself to his neighbors with the friendly and helpful ways especially to Noah and Joshua who called him "Uncle Brad." Brad will be missed greatly but knowing he's in heaven, makes the heavy grief blend with the joy of knowing that one day we will be with him forever. Being true to his helpful spirit, Brad's body is being donated for medical research. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Hope Christian Fellowship, 5045 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach. A reception in the Fellowship Hall will follow. Services will be conducted by his father and the Revs. Peter Daley and Richard Baker. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity or to the Medical College of Virginia and designate it for epilepsy research.
