Jacqueline Cooke Obituary


Jacqueline Cooke NORFOLK - It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of our loving mother and grandmother, Jacqueline Cooke, 77, of the 100 block of Suburban Parkway, on Sept. 18, 2008. She was born in Norfolk, May 16, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Josephine Copeland and Henry White. She was educated in Norfolk public schools and was predeceased by one son, Thailand. She leaves to cherish her memory six sons, Bernard (Mary), Pernell, William (Marsha), Bilal, Levin and Tyrone; a wife to the late son, Thailand (Delicia), 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in First Calvary Baptist Church, 813 Henry St., Norfolk. Interment will be held in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 2930 Gatehouse Road one hour prior to the service for the procession to the church. Graves Funeral Home is handling the arrangements www.gravesfuneralhomeinc.com.

Dear Ms. Jacqueline Cooke Family,
I was sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. My Auntie
pass while living at the Granby House, Your Mother comfort me and held my hand and was letting me know that I would make it thru that very hard time. I will never forget her. Family, you are in my prayers.
