James Powell Obituary
James M. Powell VIRGINIA BEACH - James Malvern Powell of the 900 block of Virginia Beach Blvd. passed away Sept. 13, 2008, at the age of 67. Survivors include his sons, Michael Powell, his wife Anne, and their children Michael, Wesley and William of Virginia Beach, and James Powell III, his wife Ronda, and their daughter Pam Pacos of Angier, N.C.; his sister, Sue Williams and her husband Martin of Beckley, W.Va.; three nephews, their wives and children; and his cousin, Tom Scott whose kindness, compassion and ever present support in Jim's time of need is greatly appreciated by his family. A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Star of the Sea Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
