Joseph King Obituary


Joseph Lee King CHESAPEAKE - Joseph Lee "Joe" King, 30, died Sept. 21, 2008, in Phoenix. A native of Portsmouth and longtime resident of Chesapeake, he is the son of Leroy Ernest and Patricia Dennis King of Cave Creek, Ariz. He was an industrial electrician with the Hatfield Reynolds Electrical Co. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Michelle N. King; two daughters, Jenna and Erica King, all of Chesapeake; brother, Travis B. King of Cave Creek; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Joe's Two Girls c/o Old Point National Bank, 740 Eden Way, Chesapeake, VA 23320. You were the best dad a girl could ask for, even though I was so young I can still remember bits and pieces of the memories we had together. I know you wont be able to physically walk me down the isle at my wedding but I know for a fact you will be sitting front row watching your little girl get married. Dad your amazing and I love you so much ❤
