Martha Taylor Obituary
Martha P. Taylor NORFOLK - Martha P. Taylor, 102, of the 800 block of Townsend Place, went to be with her Lord Sept. 21, 2008, due to a short illness. She was born Aug. 17, 1906. She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy Taylor and two sons, Albert Taylor and Raymond Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Viola Deans; her grandchildren, Leola Smith (Willie), James Clark, Mary Clark, Howard Clark; a caring great-great-grandaughter, Alvina S. Miller (James A.) of Newport News; great-great- grandsons, Anthony Bess (Chevette), Antwan Bess and Marvin Covington, all of Norfolk; and a host of other great-great-grandchildren and friends. A wake will be held today in the chapel at Graves Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. A funeral will be held Friday at noon in the chapel of Graves Funeral Home. www.gravesfuneralhomeinc.com.
