Corazon Baloy Obituary


Corazon Q. Baloy VIRGINIA BEACH - Corazon Quijano "Cora" Baloy, 75, passed away suddenly but peacefully in a local hospital in her homeland, the Philippines, Sept. 20, 2008. Born in Noveleta, Cavite, she resided in Virginia Beach. She retired seven years ago from M&G Electronics after 14 years of employment. She was a former member of United Ilocano Association of Tidewater (UIAT) and Bayanihan Senior Citizen Association. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 60 years, Richardo Baloy. Together they had 10 children. Ledy Olaes and husband Antonio of California, Carlito and wife Emma of Kawit, Philippines, Artemio and wife Delly of Virginia Beach, Edith Crisostomo and husband Lito of California, Ceasar and wife Teresita of Virginia Beach, Hernando and wife Edna of Canada, Rickson Baloy and wife Solly of Virginia Beach, Norman of Virginia Beach, Rosel and wife Anne of Norfolk, Tess Bagtas and husband Elmer of Virginia Beach; 38 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held today. The burial will follow immediately after the service at Wakas Cemetery in Kawit, Cavite. Condolences may be shared with the family here in Virginia.
