Julia Clark Obituary


Julia B. Clark VIRGINIA BEACH - Julia Bernice "Gran" Clark, 88, went home to be with the Lord Sept. 27, 2008. Mrs. Clark was born in Kinston, N.C., Oct. 14, 1919, and was the daughter of the late Burrell and Luna Dawson. She was the wife of the late John M. Clark. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed. Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Laursen and her husband Jack of Virginia Beach; one granddaughter, Julea Cobb and her husband Ray of Chesapeake; two loving great-grandchildren, Hanna Rae Cobb and Aaron Henry Cobb; one sister, Carrie House of Newport News; two brothers, Vance Dawson and family and John Dawson and family, all of LaGrange, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended family and good friends. The service will be private. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.hdoliver.com.
