Dear Mrs. Piland and Family,
We are truly sorry for your loss. Mr. Piland was always such a joy to see at Indian Cove. He would always come by with a smile and a story to tell. We will truly miss him.

I send my condolences, I was searching for my family who happen to be HIngerty's from Virginia, Nasemond County, my name is Alison Hinchcliff Perry, Hannah Hingerty is my Gr. Gr. grandmother and she was married to Justin Turner, her father was Alfred Hingerty who was married 3 times and had at least 10+children, he was a boatswain in the Constellation, I know this is a difficult time, but when you do get a chance please contact me with any information and I feel we are very possibly related. My email is: [email protected] I live in New Jersey and Hannah Hingerty had left the Hampton Roads area or Portsmouth back in the 1860's and ended up in Brooklyn NY where her husband Justin Turner worked in the Brooklyn Navy Yards as his father had as well. They were all ship builders as well. Thank you for your time. Alison Perry
