Melvin Burrus Obituary
Melvin E. Burrus VIRGINIA BEACH - Melvin E. Burrus of the 800 block of Prince Albert Court died Sept. 27, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Claudine Burrus; two sons, Kenyatta Burrus and Melvin; four daughters, Melvina, Shanitta, Crystal and Keesa; father, Edward Burrus; five sisters; three brothers; nine grandchildren; four special grandchildren, Andrew, NaChea, Kendall and Cameron. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Doris Braye and three brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by his mother and his father-in-law. A funeral will be held Friday at noon in Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Richard Gatling. Burial will be private.
