Its taking me a while to come up here and look at this and accept it. I still haven't but i have come to realize that your pain is now over. All i can do is just remember all the times we've shared... which is 5 long years of memories. U were my protector and bestfriend and I will always love u. My wishes go out to your mom and siblings. They r so strong just as u were. As u know your life touched my entire family, my mom (lisa a.k.a your wifey lol), kelsie (your girlfriend, she cried so hard she loves u) Jaalin (your lil dude) alexis (your white boo) and kayla (your puerto rican boo) and asia. we are praying for and missing u everyday. Desiree and Family
I know this is a hard time to have in life but we always get through. Peanut is in a place with no pain looking down taking care of you all now. Always keep your heads up high and know that Peanut may not be here physically but spiritually and he wants you all to know that he is okay and it will be alright and take your time getting through this moment one step at a time. I remember when Peanut was little and he was so worrisome along with DADA but they were 9 years old. Love you always and in my prayers

My Prayers are with you and your family, I would give my life to have you back, said the Mom,I know you would, said her child.I cry each night for you, said the Mom,and I catch all of them said her child.I pray for the day ,That I can see you again, said the Mom. Just close your eyes and you can see me, said her child.I am always just a dream away... You are the first person who loved me,And you are the first person I loved. You were always there when I needed you, And you always knew when I needed a huge.I am here for you now,Mom in your heart and in your soul.I did not take your heart with me ,instead I left mine with you to hold. One day I will take your hand ,and lead you to PARADISE,but until then my BEAUTIFUL MOTHER,when you want to see me, You only need to close your eyes, I am always just a dream away........

God's Gifts, we all need a time to grieve quiet time for reflection to shift through memories and come to grips with what has happen in our life. But know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. We all need time for tears, we all need time to just "Be" . But when we open our hearts and let God reassurance and his everlasting love in it starts to heal our broken hearts. We're praying for you as a mom and your family, plus his freinds. Becasue he is a blessing to many. So may God add a special blessing to you all.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

"Hey Boo" were the last words that Peanut said to me as we(TMA) marched pass him during the Fish Bowl parade. Who would have known that it would be the last time I would see or even speak to him. When someones life is lost you always hear someone say "he/she was the sweetest person they knew. Well I can genuinely say Peanut was a sweetheart. He would do anything for anyone. Peanut was a best friend to my daughter Jasmine, like a big brother to my younger kids and like a son to me. My heart is truly saddened to know that I will never be able to see his smile again. I have never been one to question GOD and never will. I can only say he must have needed an angel. My prayers go out to his family and friends. You may be gone , but you will never be forgotten. You have played a special role in the lives of many. I know so many are grieving right now, just know that GOD never puts more on you than you can bare. I will truly miss you. I LOVE YOU BOO!

I CANT SAY THAT I CAN EVER COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN AS PARENTS LOSING A TEENAGE CHILD. HOWEVER I CAN SYMPATHIZE WITH YOU AS I LOST MY FIRST CHILD IN JUNE "08" AT 36 WEEKS(9 MONTHS). I KNOW THE HURT, PAIN AND QUESTIONING OF GOD THAT YOU MAY HAVE. ALL I CAN TELL YOU IS IT GETS A LITTLE EASIER OVER TIME. YOU NEVER FORGET OR COMPLETELY GET OVER IT BUT, IT GETS A LITTLE EASIER TO WAKE UP AND GET OUT OF BED, AND IT EVENTUALLY IT GETS EASIER TO GET THROUGH DAYS WITHOUT CRYING (THIS WAS THE HARDEST THING FOR ME TO BELIEVE WHEN TOLD TO ME BUT ITS HOLDS TRUTH). MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO THE PARENTS, FAMILY AND LOVE ONES OF RA-SHAWN FINNEY. MAY YOU KEEP YOUR EYES FOCUSED ON GOD IN YOUR DARKEST HOUR. REMEBER YOU ARE NOT IN THIS ALONE AS I HAVE NEVER MET RA-SHAWN BUT I AS WELL AS MANY OTHERS SHARE IN YOUR HURT. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND WATCH OVER YOU IN YOR TIME OF NEED.THESE WORDS WERE IN A CARD THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME AND I FOUND THEM ENCOURAGING SO ILL PASS THEM TO YOU....

"AS YOU GO THROUGH THIS"
DIFFICULT THINGS CAN CAUSE US TO ASK,
"wHY DID THIS HAPPEN?"
BUT IF WE'RE TRUSTING IN CHRIST WE NEVER NEED TO ASK,
"HOW COULD HE(GOD) LET THIS HAPPEN?"

GOD MAY NEVER REVEAL ALL HIS REASONS TO US,
BUT HE HAS REVEALED HIS CHARACTER TO US.

HIS CHARACTER ASSURES US THAT
HE NEVER MAKES MISTAKES,
IS NEVER UNCARING,
AND THAT HE NEVER SEPERATES HIMSELF FROM OUR NEED.

THE NEED YOU FACE IS GREAT,
BUT THE GRACE THAT IS YOURS IN CHRIST IS EVEN GREATER.

MAY YOUR HEART AND YOUR FAITH STAY FIXED UPON HIM AS YOU GO THROUH THIS DIFFICULTY.

BE ASSURED THAT HE IS HOLDING YOUR HAND AND WILL NOT LET GO!

To the Finney family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you take your time to grieve and your hearts dont stay heavy forever. God has ways of doing things in our lives that we sometimes dont understand..and perhaps we never will--just have faith that he has a plan for us all.
