Let me start by saying may god bless you and your entire family. Sorry we never kept in touch as we all grew up but childhood memories always stay with us. You were such a part of my childhood and building forts and pretending and I can see life never changed you. You were such a sweet girl and such a good friend to have at any age in life. God Bless, Diane and Brenda (Cooter)

To the Family of Betty:

How do I start to express what a true and wonderful friend Betty is in my life. From the first day I met Betty, I recognized her kindeness and our friendship continued for more than twenty years. While many of those years were spent miles away we reamined close in our distance. In between my visits back to Hampton, we would exchange calls ever so often to catch up on the Virginia friends and family news. Each time we spoke, it was like the miles did not seperate us. She loved to tell me about (and I loved to hear it) Ashleigh, Dakota, and Brandt or about the neighbor's or friend's baby she just held in her arms and did not want to let go. Betty's passion for children and their lives never faltered and I believe this passion for ALL children is what made her such a rare find and best friend. We shared many happy times together and I will always cherish our friendship. Everyone who knew Betty knows how she loved all her family and friends with true comapssion and respect and for that reason she will always remain "Betty B." to me.

In remeberence of my aunt, I would like to share with everyone how very special she was. Anyone that new her, knows that and will always remember. During her last few weeks with her battle, I would talk to her about old times and laughs we shared...Even with all of her pain she still laughed, she was so strong. I pray that we may have more people like Betty in this world, and Thank the Lord to have had her in my life. I love you Betty!

Jeff & Family,

Please know that we are here for you no matter what you need. We didn't have the pleasure of knowing Betty before she became sick, but we will always remember her strong will and smiling face. She never let us know she was in pain or having a bad day when she came out to watch Dakota play ball. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. Love to you, Dakota, Brandt and Ashleigh!

All of Betty's Loved Ones,
Our hearts are breaking for all the people that Betty loved so much. None of us wanted her to have to continue the struggle she was having to live; however, none of us wanted to let her go. Even though she was ill, she was there for the boys to go to after school to share their days. Everyone who knew her will always remember her with pleasant thoughts, especially the children who crossed her path. Even though we will miss her, she is experiencing a place more wonderful than anything our imagination can dream of. Love Jane and Jerry

Betty has been in our family's lives since she & Sindee became friends in the 4th grade. They loved and respected each other and continued to be a part of each other's lives as wives and Moms. Betty was a kind, beautiful soul. All through her life she was just being herself, and that was the gift that endeared her to all who knew her. My thoughts are with her family ,and they and she will continue to be in my prayers.. Sincerely, Nancy Webb, Sindee's Mom

I could have never wished for a better, "best" friend (and family) to grow up with. Having had my dear friend, Betty for the last 38 years was such an adventure. I feel lost without her, but I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. No more pain, Bet.

Thank you for being such a wonderful family and know that I am thinking of each and every one of you in this difficult time.
Love, Schmidt
