Ina Williams Obituary


Ina Sue C. Williams VIRGINIA BEACH - Ina Sue Cannon Williams, 63, passed away Oct. 7, 2008, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Pitt County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late William Thaddeus and Katie Whitford Cannon. She was a librarian at Princess Anne High School for 19 years. She received her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University and her master's degrees from Old Dominion University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Theodore R. Williams Jr.; her daughter, Jennifer L. Apostolakis and husband Gregory of Delaware; her son, Theodore R. Williams III and wife Dana of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Travis Ann Cox of Yorktown, Lou Ellen Cannon of Wilmington, N.C., and Juanita Tyson of Buckhead, Ga.; and a grandson, Alexander Agamemnon Apostolakis of Delaware. A funeral will be conducted Saturday at noon at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, with the Rev. David W. Roth officiating. The burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 7 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
