Corean Holloway-Raney Obituary


Corean Holloway-Raney VIRGINIA BEACH - Corean "Co" Holloway-Raney of the 1500 block of Cypress Ave. died Oct. 9, 2008. She was a member of St. Mark AME Church, Virginia Beach. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley R. Coit (Woodrow) of Virginia Beach and Porta R. Thompson of Miami, Fla.; a son, George W. Raney (Catherine) of Berlin, Md.; two grandchildren, Shennell M. Coit and Byron G. Raney; a brother-in-law, Everett P. Raney (Ione) of Silver Spring, Md.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and two godchildren, Shelia Smith and Robin Battle. A service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in St. Mark AME, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or St. Mark AME Church.
