Alma Estes Obituary


Alma Louise Estes NORFOLK - Alma Louise Estes, 81, passed away Oct. 11, 2008. She was the widow of Herman L. Estes Sr. and is survived by a daughter, Belinda Collins of Fort Myers, Fla.; three sons, Herman L. Estes Jr. of Smyrna, Del., Douglas L. Estes of Norfolk and Edward L. Estes of Chesapeake; a sister, Rachel Harrison; and seven grandchildren. The family would like to express a special thanks to Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Heartland Hospice. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
