Sallie Campbell Obituary


Sallie M. Campbell CHESAPEAKE - Sallie Maxcy Campbell, loving wife of the late Bruce Becker Campbell and daughter of the late John W. and Dorinth D. Maxcy, departed peacefully Sept. 29, 2008. She is survived by by her sister, Jean Wurzer; sons, Craig and Grant Campbell; and daughters, Lisa Byrne and Whitney Campbell. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jered and Samantha Campbell, Matthew, Weston and Shannon Byrne and Tanner Johnson. Sallie was born and raised in Potsdam, N.Y., and her life's travels took her through Washington, D.C., N. Syracuse, N.Y., Chesapeake and Cincinnati, Ohio. On this road, she filled the lives of her children, grandchildren and friends with love and laughter that overflowed into the lives of many others. Those of us who have been touched by her love have been truly blessed. Memorial services will be held at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Loveland, Ohio, at 2 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Emphysema Foundation, 128 East Ave., Norwalk, CT 06851.
