Marco Taduran Obituary


Marco Taduran KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Marco "Jiji" Taduran, 57, died Sunday after a brief illness. Born in Iriga City, Philippines, Jiji had called Kansas City, Mo., his home for the past 11 years. He was a member of The Living Stones Catholic Charismatic Ministry of GKC. He was a former resident of Norfolk/Virginia Beach. Marco served proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1972 to 1992 and retired as a chief electrician's mate. He worked for Alliant Techsystems for the past four years as shift electrician. Jiji held a B.S. degree in business administration from the PSBA in Manila, an A.S. in industrial electrical technology from the Business and Technology College in Kansas City and certified as a journeyman electrician with the USWA Kansas City. Son of the late Perfecto I. and Belen D. Taduran, he is survived by his wife, Mariflor; son, Marc; children, Marco TJ, Francis, Sirikit and Jenna; seven grandchildren; six brothers; and four sisters. Viewing will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday with a Mass at 7 p.m. in White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 N. Antioch Road, Gladstone, MO 64119 (816) 452-8419. A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.
