Alfeo Giacometti Obituary


Alfeo A. Giacometti PORTSMOUTH - Alfeo A. Giacometti, 81, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2008. Born in Pennsylvania, he was a retired contractor. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Portsmouth Moose Lodge No. 898. Alfeo is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Mary Antolini Giacometti; son, Gary A. Giacometti and wife Margie of Chesapeake; sister, Yole Ciampa and husband George of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Dena, Anthony and Christopher Giacometti, Kathleen Moore, Patricia Anderson and Danielle Dasher; and four great-grandchildren, Ava Giacometti, Katie Anderson, Maggie and Jack Dasher. Mr. Giacometti is being sent from Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Hwy. Chapel to Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Greensburg, Pa., for services and burial. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com.
