I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Nita, I had not seen her since she was a little girl, she was always beautiful and looking at her current picture, such vibrant radiance. May God Bless the Sexton/Wells family and as each day passes may your strength increase and your sadness turn into joy.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Sexton family. Juanita was my best friend and I loved her like she was my sister. I have known her for over twenty years since high school and I will miss her. She was a loving person with a kind and gentle heart. I could always talk to her about anything. I remember her smile which lit up a room and the times we would sit and talk or go shopping together. She was a true friend and a child of God. I know she is with the Lord now and at peace. May God continue to watch over her three beautiful sons. I miss you Juanita.

My heart goes out to the Sexton/Wells family. Juanita is truly going to be missed by her ICN Greyhound "sisters and brothers" from the Class of 1991. She is in a better place, looking down on all of us, and catching up on old times from school with Sharika, Ansell, Ms. Proctor, Coach Langston and others that have made it up to that GLORIOUS place that we strive for! We love you and you will be missed dearly Juanita! You fought a good fight, well done!...

I was deeply saddened to hear of Juanita's passing. Juanita and I had been classmates from junior high through high school, and we always shared laughs. I sometimes look back on those days and wonder how we all managed to get an education between all the jokes! My deepest, heartfelt sympathies to the family as you deal with this trying time.

Peace and blessings,

Dawne...

I am deeply saddened to hear of Nita's passing. She was a lovely young woman inside and out, who was both a classmate and friend to me, whether in the hallways or on the streets. I will always remember how big her smile was, the talks we had and how beautiful her voice was as she sang, "Lord lift us up where we belong" in our Senior Assembly.

My condolences to the family and my prayers are with you during your time of bereavement.

Juanita was very special to me, she was my fashion design classmate at I.C. Norcom and a wonderful child of God. She had an Angelic voice that I know can be heard from Heaven. If we listen quietly, it can be heard every time the wind blows. To her family and friends, I just want to say you have my deepest sympathy, but I am sure that Juanita would want us to be of good courage as how she lived her life.

My Aunt Nita was such a special person. Whenever I would see her she never complained. She would always say God is good. Whether I saw her in a store or I happen to stop by the family home. I saw her in early September. I stopped by to see how she was doing. We watched TV for a while. She didn't want to talk about herself she was more concerned with me and my family and how we were doing. That's the type of person she was. She had such a wonderful spirit. I know she is resting with our Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed and I am so proud to have been apart of her life. I Love You Aunt Nita.

Nita had a beautiful smile whenever I saw her in the hallways, in the cafeteria or in the classroom. She had a beautiful spirit inside & out that touch many around her. Although, I've only known her for a year, it seems like I've known her all my life. May God comfort the family espcially her sons & give you peace that you seek. Nita is in a better place watching from above & seeing how everyone has come together to celebrate her life. God bless each & everyone of you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
