Angela White Obituary
Angela Powell White SUFFOLK - Angela Powell White, 39, passed away Oct. 17, 2008. A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late William Bryant Powell. Angela was a homemaker and a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She is survived by her fiancé, Jack L. Simpson Jr.; mother, Sylvia Carr; her daughter, Jennifer Leigh White of Suffolk; her sons, Jeffrey Todd White of Smithfield and Justin Wayne White of Suffolk; stepchildren, Samuel Simpson, Casandra White and Jacqulyn White, all of Suffolk; sisters, Darlene B. Hubbard of Suffolk and Angel Powell of Smithfield; brother, William H. Bradshaw III of Portsmouth; paternal grandfather, James S. Carr of Suffolk; and an aunt and uncle, Elwood and Tina Powell. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Newman Cemetery, behind Oakland Christian Church in Chuckatuck, with the Rev. Tom Potter officiating. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. A gathering of family and friends will be held after the service at 407 Bosley Ave., Suffolk. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
