Barbara Joan Johnston VIRGINIA BEACH - Barbara Joan "B.J." Johnston, 70, of Virginia Beach, passed away Oct. 19, 2008, at home surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness. B.J. was born in Warsaw, N.Y., Oct. 13, 1938, the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara Mingoy D'Imperio and was a resident of Virginia Beach for the past four years. B.J. is survived by her husband of 49 years, Art Johnston; sons, Andy (Pam) Johnston, Virginia Beach, Chris (Trish) Johnston, Lancaster, Pa., and Greg (Cara) Johnston, Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Jason, Aaron, Tyrel, Bryce, Kaylin, Mike, Sam and Bailey; a great-grandchild, Lily; and a sister, Johanna (Dan) Casciano, Pittsford, N.Y.
