Nathan Jordan Obituary


Nathan L. Jordan NORFOLK - Nathan L. Jordan, 33, of the 900 block of Galt St., died suddenly at home Oct. 20, 2008. Nat, as he was known, was born Sept. 15, 1975, graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Norfolk, in 1993, and was a 2005 graduate of Bryant & Stratton with an associate's degree in business administration. Nat was employed as a floor supervisor with Cox Communication for five years and was a member of Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Ernest L. Jordan Jr. and stepfather, Darryle E. Pollard Jr. Nathan leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Evelyn N. Pollard of Atlanta and father, Michael Clark of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Jamila Pollard of Atlanta; brother, Roger Pollard of Norfolk; grandmother, Marion Jordan of Norfolk; aunts, Frances Brown of Chesapeake, Ernestine Overton and DeVonne Spruill of Norfolk; cousins, Vincent Jordan of Chesapeake, Lorraine Taylor (Freddie), Shena' Jordan and Erica Spruill, all of Norfolk; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be today at Hale Funeral Home. The family will receive friends today at 2700 Chesterfield Blvd., Norfolk, the home of his grandmother. A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Shelton Murphy to officiate. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. www.halefuneral.com.
