Gary "Speedy" Gonzalez and I went through the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Electronics Apprentice program. He started a few years after I did, but we worked together many times and he later worked for me in the RADAR and Naval Tactical Data Systems Division (NTDS) there from 1978-80. I left there and went to NAVSEACOMBATSYSEGNSTA, where Gary later again followed me and we worked together in SNAP. I guess, all told, we worked together for about his 34 years.

My sympathies are with the family at this time of sorrow. God bless.
