Hilda, Kathy Johnson (my sister) called and told me about Thurman. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. The few times I was in his presents, he was always smiling. Once at the Williams reunion in Cary, NC when he walked up to me and said "I know who you are. You're Frances Williams daughter. You look just like her". I responded, " You must be Thurman. You are the walking image of my dad, David O. Williams, Sr.". We hugged and laughed and it's a time I'll never forget. Thank you Thurman for the memory. My family sends our deepest and sincerest sympathy to you and your family. My God be with all of you.

Thurman's cousin,

Evan Williams

Dear Williams Family,
While I have never personally met Mr. Williams, I have been especially close to his daughter Bev and his grandson Ricky for some 20+ years. I have learned bits and pieces about this man and his family over this time and know that he was very much loved by his family. My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you during this time. Each of you has a special memory with which to hold onto and while he is physically gone from this earth, that is a part of you that will last forever. God Bless you all.
