I cared for Ben during his last months, and I can say that he will truly be missed. From his faux-British accent & garbled German picked up during World War II, Ben always provided a lively atmosphere during activities at OLPH. I looked forward to seeing his smiling face in the morning and joking around with him on a regular basis. He loved being a clown and making people laugh. He was kind, funny, and had a biting wit. His love and devotion to his wife and children shone through until the end. I, along with many others, will truly miss his presence and laughter. Residents like Ben make my job not only enjoyable, but unforgettable. He will forever remain in my heart and mind.
