Sarah Ruffin Obituary
Sarah A. Ruffin NORFOLK - Sarah A. Ruffin, 69, of the 5400 block of Tidewater Drive passed away Oct. 26, 2008. She was predeceased by her beloved father, Alonzo and her son, Milton. She leaves behind six daughters, Phyllis, Alafia of Utica, N.Y., Verna, Venetta of Queens, N.Y., Kim and Ronda of Virginia Beach; 13 grandchildren, Sakina, Paris, Dakota, Sirdell, Milton, Keyshawn, Breani, Rasheeda, Burleigh, Vernell, Javon, Sarah, Caden; and one great-grandchild, with a host of family and friends. "We saw you fading like a flower, But could not make you stay. We nourished you with tender kindness Until God called you away." A funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Graves Funeral Home. www.gravesfuneralhomeinc.com
