Stephen Crim Obituary


Stephen T. Crim VIRGINIA BEACH - Stephen Toye Crim, 56, passed away Oct. 24, 2008, in his home. Stephen retired as a staff sergeant from the U.S. Army after 20 years of honorable service. His many medals awarded him include the Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 0141 in Richmond, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Retired Enlisted Association. Stephen leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Scott Crim, stationed at Osan AFB in South Korea; his daughter, Jennifer Crim of Missouri; his mother, Adah Crim, and his sister, Diana Crim, both of Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his father, Cdr. Billy Ray Crim, U.S. Navy (Ret.). A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Arlington National Cemetery. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
