William Pritchard Obituary
William A. Pritchard CHESAPEAKE - William Archie "Billy" Pritchard Jr., 73, passed away Oct. 30, 2008, in his home. Born in Virginia, he was the son of the late William A. Pritchard Sr. and Lillian Marie Cross Pritchard. He retired after 42 years with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 280 for 20 years. Survivors include two sons, William A. Pritchard III and wife Cheryl and Jeffrey Pritchard of Chesapeake; numerous grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley McGrath and Edith Arnold. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory. Friends are also invited to send condolences and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.
