Rudolph Lewis Obituary


Rudolph Lewis PORTSMOUTH - Rudolph "Chuck" Lewis, 53, of Royal Street, died Oct. 29, 2008, in his residence. He was born in Portsmouth and was employed as a bricklayer. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, LaKesha Mills of Chesapeake; two sisters, Joyce Lewis of Petersburg, Va., and Annie Hubbard (Jim) of San Antonio, Texas; five brothers, Herman Williams (Sharon) of Seattle, Robert Williams (Patricia) of Brookhaven, Pa., Jasper Lewis (Orlena) of Suffolk, William Lewis (Sharon) of Seattle and George Lewis (Renee) of Denver; two grandchildren, Imani and Raven Mills; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his, mother, Virginia Pierce Lewis; father, John Thomas Lewis Sr.; and brother, John Thomas Lewis Jr. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Steele-Bullock Funeral Home Chapel, 3950 Turnpike Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Portsmouth. Family will receive friends today at 4124 Jill Crescent, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. for the service. Condolences may be sent to www.steelebullockfuneralhome.com.
