William Stoll Obituary


William F. Stoll Sr. ABBEVILLE, S.C. - William Francis Stoll Sr., 94, husband of Katie Hershberger Stoll, gloriously went to be with the Lord Nov. 2, 2008. He was born in Indiana, son of the late Victor and Emma Graber Stoll. Since 1969, he and his family have lived in Abbeville. After receiving the Lord as his Savior, he faithfully served Him at Cold Springs Mennonite Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John and two grandchildren, Charlotte and Bonnie. Surviving are his wife of 67 years of the home; four sons, William Jr. (Barbara), Dennis (Marge), Robert (Rose), and Marvin (Susan); three daughters, Wilma, Mary (Merl Beiler), and Lynda (Jesse Wagler); also a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, wife of the late John Stoll, all of Abbeville. He was blessed with 35 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Cold Springs Mennonite Church. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Cold Springs Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cold Springs Mennonite Church Mission Fund, 45 Maplewood Drive, Abbeville, SC 29620.
