Albert Milligan Obituary


Albert Milligan Sr. PORTSMOUTH - Albert Milligan Sr., 91, departed this life Oct. 24, 2008, while residing in Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florine B. Milligan and son James Milligan. His memory is survived by daughters, Doris Benton and Shirley Gray of Portsmouth, Carolyn Qualls (Danny) of Virginia Beach and Patricia Pettiford (Michael) of Chesapeake; sons, Eddie Milligan (Mamie) and Thomas Milligan (Regina) of Portsmouth, John Milligan (Terri) of North Carolina, Anthony Milligan of Washington and Albert Milligan Jr.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A homegoing service will be held Wednesday at noon in Holy Temple Church, 2644 Gilmerton Road, Chesapeake, by Pastor Steven Pierce. Mr. Milligan will lie in repose at the church from 10 a.m. until the arrival of the funeral cortege. Entombment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park Mausoleum. A period of remembrance and visitation will be held today from 4 to 8 p.m. at E. Andre Brown Funeral Establishment Holland Road, Virginia Beach, (757) 468-2330, where services of compassion are being provided.
