Bobbie Marshall Obituary


Bobbie Lou Marshall PORTSMOUTH - Bobbie Lou Marshall passed away in Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center Nov. 6, 2008. She fought a brave 3-year battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buena Vista and Robert Hash. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Charlotte Lafferty (Ron) of West Virginia and Patricia Butler of Portsmouth; two sisters, Ola Evans (Ralph) of Suffolk and Ruth Deans of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Robyn Bulloch (Jim) of Newport News, James L. Butler III (Tracy) of Chesapeake, Bryan Todd Butler (Pam) of Virginia Beach and Ronald Gravitt of West Virginia; five great-grandchildren, Kyle and Conner Butler, Jimmy, Justin and Jordan Bulloch; and one great-great-grandchild, Aaron Bulloch. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Sylekha Ray, M.D. for support and care for three years. A graveside service will be held at noon Monday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com. She will be dearly missed. We love you, Me-Maw - rest in peace.
