Joseph Jenkins Obituary
Joseph Jenkins VIRGINIA BEACH - In the year of our Lord 2008, Nov. 14, near 2 p.m., Jesus sent his angels to take home Joseph Jenkins. The Lord called home a beloved son, loving brother and friend. Born April 12, 1991, Joseph is survived by his father, Marty; his mother, Peggy; sister, Kayla; and brother, Devon; as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. In his brief life, he touched all of their lives with his gentle heart, warm and loving personality and wonderful smile. Joseph was a senior at Green Run High School and had many friends who will be left without his wonderful friendship. He had many desires and aspirations for his life and tried very hard to obtain his dreams. Our understanding of the ways of the Lord is sometimes incomprehensible, however the words of the Bible can help. From Philippians 4:7 states, "That the peace of God, which passeth all understanding and shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in the funeral home chapel by the Rev. William Campbell. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Jojo was a great person, and i will miss him greatly he always had a warming smile that made anyone happy. i will miss seeing that everyday as i walk through the halls at school. he will always be with me in my heart, and cant wait to one day see him again, we all may have said goodbye, but it was only temporary we will all one day see him again. There will never be a truly real goodbye. I LOVE YOU JOJO!!!!!!!
