Jean Sinnott Obituary


Jean G. Sinnott VIRGINIA BEACH - Jean G. Sinnott, 78, died Nov. 12, 2008, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She was born July 7, 1930, in Saugerties, N.Y., to the late Percy and Victoria Stoly Mower. She was predeceased by her husband, her rock, Leonard P. Sinnott. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Sinnott Ives and her husband Mike; her granddaughter, Christie Ives and her fiance Andy Friedman, all of Virginia Beach; her grandson, Michael Ives Jr. and his wife Caroline of Charlotte, N.C.; her very dear friend, Tommy Borgen; and many other friends and relatives in Saugerties. Although she missed her husband and Saugerties, she also loved the people at Our Lady and being near her family in Virginia Beach. Jean's family wants to thank everyone at Our Lady; we know you all loved Jean and will miss her. Her funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Seamon- Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., corner of John and Lafayette streets, Saugerties. Interment will follow in the Blue Mountain Cemetery, Saugerties. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Friends are also invited to light a candle to Jean's memory at www.SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com.
