Will Sylvester Warren Sr. SEDLEY - Deacon Will Sylvester Warren Sr. died Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 25, 2008. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, great- grandfather and great-great- grandfather. He deeply loved his family, church and the people in the community. Deacon Warren was born March 26, 1924, in Southampton County, Virginia, to the late Jamie Warren and Mary Lou Warren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche O'Edith Warren; grandson, Tony Doles; two brothers, James Warren and Claude Warren. He leaves to mourn to celebrate his life and to carry on his legacy 14 children, Will Sylvester Warren Jr., Jill Lafayette Warren (Dora V. Warren), Karen Francine Clemons (John H. Clemons), Gerelene Doles (Robert Lee Doles), Caroline Tonessie Warren, Ronnie Lee Warren (Juanita M. Warren), Curtis Warren (Cecilia Warren), Alvin Warren (Carolyn Warren), Tyrone Warren, Randolph Warren (Harriet R. Warren), Keith Corey Warren (Jacqueline R. Warren), Earl Jerome Warren (Pamela Warren), Vivian Laverne Warren and Ann Lynette Warren, all of Sedley. In addition to his 14 children, he was blessed to have 38 grandchildren; 40 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Ercell Green and Maybell Evans; one brother, Lloyd Warren (Isabell Warren); three brothers-in-law, Garland Davis (Rita Davis), Maryland, Ivory Davis, Lorenza Davis (Dolly Davis), Norfolk; one sister-in-law, Virginia Grace, New York. He also leaves to mourn and celebrate his life a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Apostolic Faith Church of God, 608 Oak St., Franklin. Deacon Warren will be eulogized by Pastor Melvin Lyttle of Macedonia Baptist Church, Suffolk. The family will meet at the home (28464 Vicksville Road, Sedley) of Deacon Warren at 11:45 a.m. Sunday for the procession to the church. Interment will be at the Old St. Paul Church Cemetery, Sedley.
