Danny Paul Obituary


Danny L. Paul CHESAPEAKE - The Rev. Danny L. Paul, 62, of the 700 block of Osborn Ave., passed away Nov. 27, 2008 in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Eddie R. and Elsie D. Paul. He was the pastor at Broadmoor Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a Naval veteran of the Vietnam War having served on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Intrepid. He is survived by his wife, Debbie S. Paul; a sister, Geneva P. Smith and husband Bobby of Wilmar, N.C.; a brother, Colon R. Paul Sr. and wife Agnes of Chesapeake; loving mother- in-law, Almae Brickhouse of Chesapeake; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Newbert and husband Roger of Chesapeake and Joyce Dilday of Portsmouth; brother- in-law, Dallas Brickhouse and wife Ruth of Chesapeake and nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Broadmoor Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2041 Chapel Ave., Chesapeake, with the Rev. Phillip M. Lewis and the Rev. Terry L. Lewis officiating. The burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Uncle Danny was a wonderful person that taught me a lot in life. I will always love him and miss him. Aunt Debbie if you ever need anything or just someone to talk to please let me know. I love you and you will forever be in my prayers. God Bless You.
