Judson Pritchard Obituary


Judson Cox Pritchard SOUTH MILLS - Judson Cox Pritchard, 76, died Nov. 28, 2008, in his residence. Mr. Pritchard was born in Camden County, North Carolina, the son of the late Judson Orby Pritchard and Mattie Burnham Pritchard and the widower of Nancy Turner Pritchard. He was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. Mr. Pritchard is survived by one daughter, Denise Pritchard Hennessy and husband William of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two sons, William Lee Pritchard and wife Mary B. of Gastonia, N.C., and Larry Cox Pritchard and wife Diana P. of Plant City, Fla.; one sister, Jane Mayo Snead of Coinjock, N.C.; and nine grandchildren, Sarah, Rachael, Jessica, Katie, Mason, Victoria, Allyson, Daniel and Hannah. A funeral will be conducted today at 3 p.m. in Twiford's Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. in the lobby of the funeral home. To sign the online guest register, please visit www.twifordfh.com.

Dear Denise, Lee, and Larry,
Very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Robin and I had no idea that you folks were in the area or else we would have tried to see you. We live in Weeksville, south of Elizabeth City. Will always have fond memories of you and your family since we were neighbors growing up together. You are in our prayers and heartfelt sympathies!
